Brighton Concert Hall is an “acoustically treated” live performance venue with a total area of 660m2 and an auditorium capacity of 364 fixed seats with room for a further 36 removable chairs bringing the capacity to 400. This facility has been built specifically with music and orchestral performances in mind.

Brighton Concert Hall auditorium and foyer provide a professional multi-purpose environment whilst incorporating a flexible workspace. The main auditorium is suited to musical performances, corporate events, presentations and group meetings, whilst the foyer lends itself as an ideal space for more intimate style events such as cocktail functions or corporate business meetings. Audio Visual systems have been installed in both areas.

BIO BOX
The Bio Box is 11m2 and located at the back of the audience and can be accessed through the main foyer. It incorporates standard controls for the sound, lighting and vision systems. The window can be opened. All equipment, including radio and lectern microphones can also be controlled from stage right via the integrated touch panel system.

This automation system allows for ease of control of all technology within the auditorium when the system is in basic mode ('Presentation Mode'). When the system is placed in 'Concert Mode', all control is sent to individual Audio, Visual and Lighting control systems.

Allen & Heath Digital Mixer with digital stage box or, touch panel remote network will allow routing for different modes of operation of the professional audio system. Basic presentation mode or full concert mode is available with BGM music, chimes and predetermined room tuning. Configurable signal digital audio network makes this system accessible via USB and compatible with .MP3, .MPV and .WAV formats.
FRONT OF HOUSE PA SYSTEM
JBL 8” 2-way Line-Array System, coupled to a JBL 15” Compact, Flying Subwoofer both with differential drive, is suspended on a small array frame flying setup and powered by Crown power amplifiers.

Four powered fold-back monitors are connected to the existing Roland stage box outputs on stage. JBL passive loudspeaker FOH wedges, 2-way 300mm low frequency one inch compression driver system with a high frequency on a constant curvature waveguide and are run by Crown power amplifiers.

Lighting
HOUSE LIGHTING
Brighton Concert Hall auditorium lighting is controlled through a CBUS system accessed via the touch screen panel located in the Bio-Box.
STAGE LIGHTING
The front-of-house bar (#1) consists of 6x ETC Lustra D60 fixtures for stage colour, 4x 2k LED fresnels for stage wash and 2 PR XR LED 500 moving profiles for lectern spots and gobo. Stage bar (#2) consists of 10x ProShop Quad 18 LED fixtures for full-stage colour and 3x PR XLED 3007 Wash fixtures.
FOH wall hung bars over the mezzanine floor contain 4x ShowPro eProfiles FC's.
LIGHTING BARS AND ACCESS
Two lighting bars over the stage can be lowered via electronic hoist. Bars can be added to at ground level. Each of these bars has 12 LED, DMX and Ethernet patch points. Power for each bar is run to one single phase 20amp power supply per bar. Lights can then be focused with the use of the centre's vertical personnel lifter.

An Epson WUXGA 1920x1200, 4K, 12,000 Lumen projector is installed in the Brighton Concert Hall. HDMI inputs for the projector are located stage right as well as in the 2 in the Bio Box. Vision switching is capable using the Extron 1606 Vision presentation switcher. This switcher is located in the Audio Visual rack and is not movable. The Extron is controlled via the RTI interface control system and iPad functionality.
Additional switching can be achieved using the venue's Blackmagic Design ATEM Production Studio 4k switcher (subject to availability). 4x HDMI inputs and 4x SDI inputs. Additionally, 2x SDI to HDMI adaptors are available making 6 HDMI inputs.
Vision is displayed on a Screen Technics 275” 5925mm (W) x 3705mm (H) motorised projection screen.

A High Definition Visual Communications Camera (PTZ) is located in the auditorium. Camera feeds are available back stage, on both stage left and stage right as well as displayed on the 55" screens in the foyer. Using iPad or RTI control, the camera can be controlled via pan/tilt and zoom.
